A Cartoon describing our school system

I thought that this picture sums up the need for differentiating instruction.

  1. Love this comic! I've always been a student who learns differently and reading and lecture is not how I learn but all classes focus mostly on those forms of instruction. This has left me confused and feeling behind. While I manage to get by in my classes I'm often times just playing the game. As an individual, I need to go out and do things, be hands on and involved. Learning theory is great and all but I learn better on the fly. You can breath down my neck and preach all you want but that's just not how I learn. Everyone is different and education should reflect that.
